Little Rascals

April 25, 2011

Today was suppose to be a day off, but unfortunately I got called into work this morning, just as I was brewing a pot of coffee.

Anyways, it threw my entire day off.  I felt like I was in slow motion all day.

Therefore it was a boring food day.

All I had for dinner was a spinach salad and baked sweet potato fries, because I was just that lazy.

So instead of a food filled post, I thought I’d make it about some rascal friends of mine.

Winnie and Vanna.

You probably will recognize them from previous posts.

But for those who don’t…

That is Vanna.

She’s my Aunt’s sister’s dog and she’s a Havanese.

She’s so springy and cute it’s always a hoot when she’s around.

That is Winnie.

She’s my Aunt and Uncle’s dog and a Westie.

She looks pretty depressed in this picture.  What can I say, she’s “moody”.

Treat time!

Ok you guys have to brace yourself for this picture.

I cannot believe I scored a shot of this.

That’s Vanna sticking out her tongue!

I almost died when I saw it.  I think she was technically in “mid yawn” when I snapped this photo.

Definitely one for the books.

“What are you looking at?? “

Darling little girl.

“Where’d the treats go?”

———–

Those are only a few of the many pictures I’ve taken of them.

I really do enjoy taking pictures of animals, it’s so entertaining.

Hope you all enjoyed the little rascals 🙂

I promise food will be back soon.

A note, blogging may be a little strange these next two weeks.  The company I work for caters all of the food for the now named, Wellsfargo Golf Championship, here in Charlotte.  Today was day one of prep. By the end of the week I’ll be over at the golf course and most likely working weird hours.   If I don’t post everyday, don’t hate me.  I will when I can! I promise!

Hope you guys have a good night!

Vanessa 🙂

Well you have certainly put a smile on my face with Winnie and Vanna. I guess the only thing I love more than food is animals, and they are cuties. I wondered what George and Diane’s Winnie looked like.

I thought perhaps you glazed the bacon with fig jam, and happen to have some in the house. I can’t wait to try it. Keep your wonderful posts coming. They make my day. Gail
